Not quite the Viali di Circonvallazione but somewhat sun-soaked and tree lined in Sheperd’s Bush.

QPR-Fiorentina was perfect for the kind of hazy pre-season friendly between these two well respected clubs.

Purple shirted fans dotted the pubs on the way to Loftus Road, while the blue and white striped Rs supporters created a lazy river meandering into the seats.

The score was less important than being there. In the moment.
