The active scene in Australia continues to grow and none more so than in Sydney, where the derby between Sydney FC and Western Sydney Wanderers burns strong.

Even a game between the two teams’ academy sides sees a turnout from The Cove of Sydney FC and the Red and Black Bloc of Western Sydney at the Rockdale Ilinden Sports Centre.

The two teams have geographical differences, old grudges and a variety of supporter influences, which makes the Sydney Derby one to watch alongside the Aussie scene in general.
