125 years of Stade Rennais FC — and Rennes didn’t celebrate quietly.

On Sunday, March 22, the streets belonged to the Roazhon Celtic Kop.

Thousands gathered as the cortège took shape. Scarves wrapped, voices building, smoke already in the air.

Then it moved. Red flares lit the route. Drums set the tempo. Chants rolled through the city, growing louder with every street crossed.

What started as a gathering quickly became something else — a mass in motion, dense, fluid, alive.

This is where ultra culture speaks its clearest language.

Not in curated tifos or choreographed displays alone, but in occupation. In movement. In taking the city and turning it into an extension of the stand.

No barriers, no seats — just bodies, sound, presence.

The Roazhon Celtic Kop didn’t just lead the march. They defined it. Flags cutting through smoke, rhythm constant, energy relentless. Around them, the crowd followed, expanded, merged.

There was no nostalgia here. No quiet reflection on 125 years. This was something else. A statement in motion.

Because anniversaries in football are rarely about the past alone. They are about continuity. About showing that what existed still exists — louder, stronger, carried forward. And in Rennes, that message was clear: This club is not just history. It moves.

As the cortège approached the stadium, the shift was seamless. Streets into stands. March into match-day.
