Time seems to move a little slower, and perhaps that's precisely what makes it so fascinating.

The football club have been through many hard times, which are far from glamorous. But the supporters persevere and will never give up on their club.

When you head to the Martelli, the pace changes. Bars are packed, scarves are swathed in the buzz that only a matchday can create.

The Mantova curva is compact, and lives football directly: constant chants, flags fluttering, and few frills—real support, without unnecessary barriers.

The atmosphere really heated up against Palermo, especially towards the end. The 95th-minute goal turned the atmosphere on its head: from tense silence to explosion.

For a few minutes, Martelli seemed bigger than they were, spurred on by a Curva that never stopped believing in them.
