Hamlet: No tragedy at Dulwich

My name is Charles, I'm in my thirties, I'm from Lyon and I'm a fervent supporter of Olympique Lyonnais.

Every time I come to London, I come to see my best friend who lives in Brixton.

And every time, I make sure I go to a lower division or non-league match, where there's atmosphere, soul and where I'm sure I'll meet people to share a beer with!

After researching the club and its social impact, my choice was made.

Off to Champion Hill Stadium on the 37 bus for Dulwich Hamlet F.C vs Cheshunt F.C.

3.00 pm, sunshine and around 2800 people in attendance!

All the ingredients were there for a Dulwich Hamlet victory... However, they were beaten 0-1 in the last minute by a Vas Vasiliou penalty for Cheshunt.

What we will remember is the energy around the pitch, the mix of people and generations... That's DHFC's strength.

Defeat is no tragedy when you have a club that’s about more than winning and losing.
